At the Department of Clinical Pathology/Cytology, around 30 dedicated employees work in various professional categories, including doctors, laboratory staff, and morgue/autopsy personnel. In the morgue and autopsy, we strive to honor the deceased and their rights, providing good service and support to the relatives.

We are looking for

We are looking for someone with strong skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Good computer skills and previous experience in a morgue, funeral home, or similar are advantageous for the position. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. As a person, you are secure and stable, independent, and service-oriented. You demonstrate good judgment in statements, actions, and decisions.

This is what you will work with

Preparing and assisting in autopsies, registration and release of the deceased from the morgue, preparing the deceased and participating in scheduled farewells, administrative work related to autopsy/morgue operations, contact with clinics, funeral homes, relatives, and others. Some tasks will take place in the clinical laboratory, where work involves instrument maintenance, registration, and handling of samples.

Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position, daytime working hours from 07:30 to 16:00. Start date according to agreement.
Selection and interviews will be conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
